Advocating for change is hard work. Whether you’re a newly hired planner fresh out of graduate school or a seasoned transportation activist, taking on parking policy reform can be especially tough. For such an important issue, the world of parking reform is still a small one and the playbooks for organizing around parking policy are still being written — by us.
The Parking Reform Network hosts a monthly Organizing Roundtable. This is a great opportunity to meet other people involved in parking reform and help guide the development of PRN’s resources and programs.
Anyone who is (or wants to be) organizing around this issue is welcome to attend.
Request access to our group mailing list or email tony[at]parkingreform.org to receive meeting announcements and other information.
The meetings are held the last Wednesday of the month at 1PM Pacific Time via Zoom.
The next meeting will be November 30th at 1PM Pacific and will be focused on capacity building and planning for the next several months of the committee’s activities – Free Zoom registration is required.
Public Comment Workshop – TBD Fall 2022 – Free Zoom Registration Required Organizing and giving effective public testimony – written or in-person/online – is easier than you think!
