Parking minimum removal
Within the urban core and special districts planning areas, lots which are less than 55 feet in lot frontage are not required to provide parking. The Okeechobee Business District is exempt from parking mandates. Residential micro-units are exempt in the Urban Core Districts, Special Districts, NoRA, and Residential Enclaves.

Parking minimum reduction
Parking requirements may be reduced for senior housing or housing for those with disabilities. Within the CC-2 downtown districts, parking requirements are reduced by 10%, except for hotel and retail uses. A fee in lieu of parking may also be provided in the CC-2 districts. Parking requirements are reduced for some uses in the City Center District. Within the Downtown Master Plan area, parking requirements may be reduced through on-street parking, motorcycle parking or a fee in lieu of parking.

Parking maximum
Parking maximums apply to urban core districts, special districts, North Railroad Avenue, and Residential Enclaves. The Okeechobee Business district has soft and hard parking maximums, if the developer wants to exceed the soft max they have to pay into the transit operations budget.
