Parking minimum removal

Vancouver removed all parking mandates citywide on June 26, 2024. Previously, parking minimums were eliminated for new developments in the West End and Broadway Plan areas as of January 1, 2024 following a similar policy in downtown implemented in January 2019. Accessible spots for people with disabilities, visitor spaces, and loading spaces will continue to be required.
