Parking reforms in Tucson
Arizona, United States

Parking minimum reduction

Within the Downtown Parking District, parking requirements are reduced by right, a change of use is exempt from parking requirements, and the provision of public amenities or the payment of a fee in lieu of parking will reduce requirements further. Citywide, on-street parking may be counted towards certain residential uses, and nonresidential NRHP listings may be exempted. Additional reductions to parking requirements are possible through the provision of EV chargers, additional handicapped parking, bike parking, additional landscaping, or providing trash enclosures.
