Parking minimum reduction
Parking requirements within the Downtown Parking Management Plan District are reduced by 20% for nonresidential uses and may be further reduced for all uses upon approval of the city manager. Public parking may be allowed to count towards requirements as well. Prior to 2024, downtown parking requirements could only be reduced for public parking, mixed-uses, or where it could be shown that customers would walk or bike. On-street parking citywide may meet a portion of the minimum off-street parking requirements for projects that construct new roads and have a mix of uses.
