Parking minimum removals

Champaign eliminated parking requirements for all multi-family dwellings in the "University District". No off-street parking is required for any use within the MFUniv, CB1, CB2, and CB3 Districts. Elderly housing is subject to reduced parking requirements in all zones.

Parking maximum

The 2021 Comprehensive Plan and 2013 Growing Green Plan recommended parking maximums. The 2008 Transportation Master Plan recommended parking maximums at development nodes.
