Parking minimum reduction
A Fall 2021 zoning change reduced parking minimums for housing units created within 0.5 mile of rapid transit to 0.5 per studio apartment and 1.0 parking spaces per 1-bedroom or larger dwelling unit. It further allowed the Zoning Board of Appeals to reduce or eliminate required parking spaces if doing so accomplishes material Townwide benefits such as the creation of additional housing units, affordable housing units, or open space.
